Mrs Macs, an Australian establishment, has recalled two Mrs Macs Microwave pies over packaging fault that may result in overheat and scorch the consumer, according to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand.

The products associated with the recall include 200g Mrs Macs Microwave Beef Pie and Mrs Macs Microwave Beef and Cheese Pie with various Best Before dates.

The recalled products have been distributed to Woolworths, IGA Supermarkets and small independent retailers across the nation.

The consumers are advised to remove the product from the packaging before heating in a conventional oven to serve.

Customers who have purchased the recalled product are advised to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
